Tyson CFO Arrested for Trespassing and Public Intoxication

John Tyson, CFO of Tyson Foods and son of board chairman, was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 6 after being found in a stranger’s bed.

KNWA / Fox 24 broke the news of the incident. Tyson was found asleep in a woman’s bed around 2 a.m. on Sunday after she called the police. Tyson was unable to speak to police upon arrival and smelled of alcohol. He was arrested for public intoxication and trespassing and booked in Washington County jail.

According to CNBC, “Tyson was named chief financial officer for the company in late September, when his predecessor Stewart Glendinning was tapped to lead the company’s prepared foods division. He joined the company in 2019 after working in investment banking, private equity and venture capital.”

Tyson Foods claimed that the incident was a “personal matter” and would not be making any further comments in a statement to CNBC.
