Hasbro and Ageless Innovation Unveils New ‘Age-Inclusive’ Versions of Iconic Board Games

Age is just a number, and now, thanks to Hasbro and Ageless Innovation, it won’t hinder you from enjoying your favorite board games.

The iconic board game maker unveiled new versions of Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit and The Game of Life on Thursday. Each of the board games have been reimagined to make it easier and more appealing for seniors to play.

Ted Fischer, co-founder and CEO of Ageless Innovation, said changes made to the games include larger playing pieces that are easier to grasp, a larger font printed on the boards and new content that is more relatable to an older demographic.

Scrabble introduced a 3-in-1 edition that has three games – “the classic word game of Scrabble, Scrabble Bingo and Scrabble Pass. All three games have bigger letter tiles to hold and larger lettering for players to see. Scrabble Pass incorporates a 30-second sand timer to make it more challenging,” per CNN.

Trivial Pursuit has also been revamped with generation-specific trivia called Trivial Pursuit Generations. The new game includes 1,500 new questions segmented by generational relevance including theGreatest Generation, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials and Generation Z.

As for the new The Game of Life Generations edition, players must pick a generation before the game begins sending players through life events specific to the generation chosen.

The games will officially launch in June and are available for pre-order now.
