Disney Parks Introduce a Limited Time Discount for Children

Disney Parks Introduce a Limited Time Discount for Children

Families with children under the age of nine can anticipate their trips to Disney parks to be cheaper next year.

Walt Disney World and Disneyland announced separate, limited-time deals this week that will begin next year.

Disneyland’s deal will include park tickets for “as low as $50 per child, per day” beginning Jan. 8 and ending March 10, the theme park stated. Without a discount, one child’s ticket for one day at the park starts at $98. Discounted tickets will go on sale on Oct. 24.

As for Walt Disney World, the special deal includes “half off theme park tickets and dining plans for children when families purchase a non-discounted, four-night, four-day resort stay directly through Disney,” USA Today reported. According to the park, the deal will be valid “most nights from March 3 through June 30.” Booking will become available on Nov. 14.

These deals come at a time when consumers are fighting higher prices due to inflation resulting in declining attendance at U.S.-based parks. According to CNBC, “Disney is not the only company facing these issues. Universal’s domestic parks, as well as region players like Six Flags and SeaWorld, have reported lower attendance this year.”
