Disney Announces Updates to Parks and Reservation Systems

Disney Announces Updates to Parks and Reservation Systems

Disney has announced some much-anticipated changes that are going to take place.

This week, Josh D’Armaro, parks and resorts Chairperson, informed employees about several changes that will positively affect guests’ park experiences. “As we step into this bright future it is important that we continuously evolve to help deliver the best guest experience possible,” he wrote. “Many of you know that I’m in the parks fairly often and I listen to you and to our guests about the things that are working as well as the things that might need some change.”

Yahoo Finance reported that these changes “include more incentives for premium programs for parks members, like opportunities to secure its lowest-priced ticket option of $104 per guest at California’s Disneyland Resort.”

Additionally, complimentary services like free parking and free digital photo downloads are reportedly going to become more available to guests at the theme parks.

Walt Disney World annual pass holders will also be able to visit the theme parks after 2 p.m. without needing a reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom, per Yahoo Finance.

These changes come after Bob Iger unexpectedly returned to the company back in November.
