Skittles is introducing a new limited edition flavor just in time for National Mustard Day, August 5.
The candy company has partnered with French’s to create the first-ever mustard-flavored Skittle.
French’s has a history of going all out on National Mustard Day including mustard-flavored ice cream and a mustard donut. Valda Coryat, North America Vice President of Marketing for McCormick & Company, said this year, the company had to “outdo” themselves. “We are thrilled to collaborate with Skittles to deliver our beloved Classic Yellow Mustard tang in a new, fun way to French’s and Skittles fans alike,” Coryat explained in a press release.
However, these Skittles will not be hitting stores. Instead, customers can get a taste of the tangy candy at French’s “Mustard Mobile” which will be stopping in three U.S. cities. First, the bus will stop in Atlanta on July 31, then make its way to Washington D.C. by August 2, and the tour will end in New York City on August 5.
Fans can also get their hands on the candy by entering an online sweepstakes.
