Netflix Documentary, Harry & Meghan, Breaks Records

Netflix announced last Thursday that Harry & Meghan had the biggest documentary debut week in the history of the streaming service, People reported. 

The first three episodes of the six-part documentary were released last Thursday and have amassed 81.55 million viewing hours, according to Netflix. Additionally, it was reported that more than 28 million households streamed at least a portion of the docu-series. 

Harry & Meghan took second place on Netflix’s Global Top 10 list of most watched shows and movies. 

During the first three episodes, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spoke about the early days of their romance, Harry’s proposal, their decision to move to California, the racism Meghan faced when the public found out about their relationship and more. 

The final three episodes are reportedly more dramatic as the royal couple details their strained relationship with the rest of the royal family. 

The rest of the docu-series was released on Thursday, Dec 15, available for streaming on Netflix.
