For the first time ever, the restaurant chain is making biscuits available to all customers nationwide.
IHOP has been branching out recently with its menu by adding things like burritos and savory crepes. The company is reportedly making these changes to draw in more customers during lunch and dinner hours.
“The new lineup includes a buttermilk biscuit; a breakfast biscuit sandwich made with bacon, American cheese, cheese sauce and eggs; a chicken biscuit sandwich that features pickle chips and country gravy; and a fresh strawberries and cream biscuit filled with cheesecake mousse, strawberries and syrup,” per CNBC.
IHOP’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kieran Donahue, is confident that the chain’s biscuits will have national appeal especially since the biscuit recipe has been upgraded.
The biscuits will come in a variety of ways. The fresh strawberries and cream biscuit can be ordered as a sweet breakfast or dessert and the biscuit sandwiches offer customers a savory breakfast option.
