The crime in San Francisco is so bad that it is now impacting business in the city.
According to Rep. Kevin Kiley, R-Calif., the rise of incessant crime in San Francisco is the result of “failed policies, radical politics, and public corruption.” He also stated employees at the Federal Building are being told to stay home due to safety concerns.
Residents and retailers have been rapidly fleeing San Francisco because of the out of control crime and the city has reportedly reached a point of total collapse as a result. Whole Foods, Nordstrom, T-Mobile, Saks, and Anthropologie have all already left, Kiley announced.
According to San Francisco police data, “Homicides are up a whopping 20.7% since the beginning of the year, while robberies and motor vehicle theft are up 14% and 13%, respectively.”
Remaining residents are holding out hope for the 2026 election of a new Governor considering Gavin Newsom is unable to seek reelection.
