Chick-fil-A Debuts New Chicken Sandwich for a Limited Time

Chick-fil-A is spicing things up, but only for a limited time.

The restaurant chain debuted the new Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich uses “the same breaded chicken filet as a typical Chick-fil-A sandwich but features a spread of pimento cheese and drizzle of honey on top. Pickled jalapenos replace the pickles usually used in the sandwich,” according to CNBC.

For the most part, Chick-fil-A keeps its menu short and simple. However, the chain is known for branching out for seasonal items like the peach milkshake and peach tea drinks for summer.

The release of the new sandwich indicates that Chick-fil-A is shifting its menu strategy and expanding throughout the country, per CNBC. Afterall, Chick-fil-A has become the number 3 restaurant chain by sales in the U.S. just behind McDoanld’s and Starbucks.

The Honey Pepper Pimento Cheese Chicken Sandwich will be available starting on Aug. 28 for a limited time only.
