Apple AR/VR Headset Could be Released Early 2023

Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ-AAPL) newest technology advancement is an exciting one, a headset that mixes virtual reality and augmented reality. 

Exciting indeed, but skeptics are sure that Apple’s headset will have a lot to prove, considering the Virtual reality market is small. 

This headset is seven years in the making and is expected to blow away Virtual Reality headsets made by Facebook, Sony, and HTC. Bloomberg reported that these are “likely to look better, run faster, and feature more immersive graphics.”

If the Apple AR/VR is a success that would be yet another accomplishment for Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook. Since Cook took over, Apple’s market value has increased to more than $2.5 trillion.

With the news circulating about the newest technological advancement, Bloomberg made an interesting statement about an old one. “The iPhone is more than 15 years old and can’t supply that kind of growth forever. Apple has lent this theory more weight with annual phone updates that feel like dutiful, perfunctory cash grabs. Also, the 14th if anything is going to start feeling a little played out.”

Perhaps the AR/VR headset can pick up where the iPhone leaves off.
