Apple Announces New Event in October 

Just a month after releasing the iPhone 15, Apple has announced its second product event of the season. 

The event is set to take place on Monday, October 30 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT. The event will be only accessible via livestream, differing from the company’s product launches which happen both in person and online. 

Apple is describing the event as “scary fast,” likely in reference to the quick release of a new product as well as Halloween. According to CNN, the company is expected to show off new iMac computers with its next-generation silicon chip, M3. This is a move that could potentially boost Mac sales, which have been down this year. 

Last year, the M2 chip was brought to the MacBook line of computers. This year, the 24-inch iMac is believed to get the M3 chip. 

CNN reported that there are no rumors yet about a new iPad launch.
